# ✅ Bi-Directional Emergency Contact & Spouse Auto-Fill Implementation

## Task Complete
Added REVERSE auto-populate functionality so users can fill either Emergency Contact OR Spouse fields first, and they will sync automatically in both directions.

## What Was Fixed

### Problem Statement
Previously, auto-fill was ONE-DIRECTIONAL:
- ✅ Account/Spouse → Emergency Contact (working)
- ❌ Emergency Contact → Account/Spouse (NOT working - user had to manually fill both)

### Solution Implemented
Added `autoPopulateSpouseFromEmergency()` function to all 3 portals that:
1. Listens for changes to Emergency Contact fields (name, phone, email)
2. Listens for changes to Relationship dropdown
3. When relationship = "spouse", automatically populates spouse fields on Account tab
4. Triggers on both 'change' and 'input' events for real-time updates

### Flow 1: Account → Emergency Contact (Already Working)

## Testing Scenarios

### Scenario 1: Fill Spouse First, Then Check Emergency
1. Go to Account tab
2. Fill "Spouse Name" → "Spouse Phone" → "Spouse Email"
3. Go to Emergency tab
4. ✅ Emergency Contact fields auto-populated with spouse data

### Scenario 2: Fill Emergency First, Then Check Spouse (NEW)
1. Go to Emergency tab
2. Fill "Contact Name" with wife/spouse name
3. Fill "Contact Phone"
4. Fill "Contact Email"
5. Set "Relationship" to "Spouse"
6. ✅ Go to Account tab → Spouse fields are now populated!

### Scenario 3: Real-Time Sync
1. Go to Emergency tab
2. Type spouse name in real-time (not waiting for blur/change event)
3. ✅ Watch Account/Spouse field update as you type
4. Change Relationship to "Spouse" → Auto-fills if data exists

### Scenario 4: Only Populates When Relationship = "Spouse"
1. Go to Emergency tab
2. Fill Contact Name with "John Smith"
3. Set Relationship to "Friend"
4. Go to Account tab
5. ✅ Spouse fields remain EMPTY (correct behavior - only spouse relationship triggers sync)

When users fill fields, they will see debug logs like:
